Goals
Setting a goal on a statistic or on your volume of play, with a target and a deadline, and letting the Tracker follow your progress on your hands.
Knowing that you fold too much to 3-bets changes nothing. Setting out to go from 62% to 52% in a month, and watching every session move the number, does. That is what the Tracker's Goals page is for.
Creating a goal
“Create a goal” opens a window:
- Theme: Technique (a game statistic) or Management (your volume and your results).
- Tracked stat: a search through every statistic in the Tracker (shortcut ⌘K or Ctrl+K).
- Name, and an optional description.
- Start: your current value, detected from your hands.
- Target: the value to reach.
- Period: one week, two weeks, one month, three months, or specific dates.
- Scope: the heroes concerned. Their hands are pooled.

For a first goal, the page offers ready-made suggestions: your hand volume, your 3-bet, your fold to 3-bet.
What you can track
- Technique: any statistic from the Statistics page. As long as the period has fewer than 200 opportunities, the goal says so: “sample too small”.
- Management: hands played, games played, sessions played, days played, winrate in BB/100 (which needs at least 5,000 hands to mean anything) and winnings in big blinds.
Following your progress
Each goal shows its current value, its start, its target, a progress bar and the days left. Its status tells you where you stand:
- In progress
- Almost: the target is close
- Behind: at the current pace, the deadline will not be met
- Reached
- Time up
Progress is computed from your hands, on the server: it is the same on all your computers. Goals also show on the dashboard (the three most urgent), in the current session and in each session's recap.
The Completed tab keeps past goals, reached or missed. “Pin” puts a goal forward; “Edit” and “Delete” are in its menu.
Choosing a good goal
- One statistic at a time. Three technique goals at once is three things to think about at the table, which means none.
- A realistic target. Moving a fold to 3-bet by ten points in a month is doable; halving it is not, without damaging something else.
- Enough hands. A goal on a river statistic takes a big volume; over a short period, pick a preflop statistic.
- A volume goal alongside. Technique goals only move if you play: a goal for hands or sessions per week takes care of the rest.
